Our Story

My favorite part about skateboarding has always been setting up a new deck. Picking out grip tapes that match the board perfectly was always key for me. 

In the fall of 2020 our friend was having trouble learning how to skate. I noticed their board was too small for them and gave them one of my custom boards. This was the beginning of SWISS, where I could create a business that I loved. 

I started gathering different boards and grip tapes to create perfect combos, while keeping in mind skate culture. The real turning point was when I asked Brenna to be a part of this business venture. She has incredible woodworking skills that would bring this company to the next level. 

Over 2 million skateboards end up in landfills each year. Brenna and I have collected as many worn down, broken, and used skateboards as possible and turned them into different types of furniture. Combining both of the things we love; creativity and skating.
